Essays are 500 words each and graded according to the WSPT rubric, available here. Essay descriptions are available in this Google document.
All 4 major essays will be peer reviewed. Your participation and effort in this activity is factored in your essay grade. You should make at least 5 comments on each essay you peer review. See the Peer Review Powerpoint on the Resources page of this website for how to be a productive peer reviewer.
Journals are 250 words each and graded according to completion and effort. Entries are due on Friday each week. Your journal entries will be posted on your website, like a blog. This link is a Google document with the weekly journal entry topics.
Oral Presentations are 3 to 5 minutes long and graded according to the OP rubric. You can find the description here.
Quizzes are taken on Bb and can be retaken up until the due date. They are graded automatically by Bb. For any technical problems, contact OCCS at (757) 683-3189.
