I am a Doctoral Candidate in the English Department at Old Dominion University, in the Rhetoric and Cultural Studies tracks. My research focuses on women firefighters, beginning in the early 1900s as ladies auxiliary members and extending to their experiences today – a topic emerging from my own past as a female firefighter.
Writing is hard, and in this class we will embrace first drafts. We will even go beyond embracing, to analyze, comment, and revise. We will work together to become better writers, thinkers, and learners. It is my pleasure to work alongside you this semester!
